TECHNICAL SALES, MINING

Our client, a canadian global mining technology provider, is seeking a Technical Sales representative for their line of ore processing equipment for the mining industry.

The position involves significant travel and can be based in the Americas or Europe.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Regional Business Development responsibility for mining process equipment to establish, nurture and grow strong customer relationships

• Provide Technical Sales Analysis of the customers needs: collect application information and technical data, propose adapted solutions, negotiate and to close contracts and check the proper execution of the contract.

• Provide after-sales support with high technical content, providing value and solution selling, and identifying and working with different buying influences.

Experience and skill attributes:

• 5+ Years experience in Mining Process Equipment Technical Sales

• Skills, qualifications and experience in the mining ore processing sector with a solid understanding of circuit equipment such as: grinding mills, scrubbers, concentrators and filters

• Ability to perform circuit process analysis such as “Mass Balance”

• An associated degree in Engineering

• Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and organizational skills in dealing with customers, contractors and suppliers

• Strong customer relationships built on past performance and industry knowledge
