Multinational Company listed on the BSE & NSE providing Freight Forwarding, Custom Clearance, Trucking, Warehousing, Express, Courier and other related Supply Chain activities.
In order to establish its operations and team in Brazil, is looking for a go getter from the field of Logistics & Supply Chain. The position is based out of São Paulo.

Position: Transport Operation Manager at DGM level
Location: Macapá / Amapá
Reporting to: Executive Director
Role: Operation control in Transportation and logistics
Area of Responsibility: As per customer requirement in Brazil and [if assistance required in Uruguay (for existing customer)]
Position carries responsibilities of –
A) OPERATIONS –
1. Design of SOP
2. Setting up, developing, and managing vendors
3. Managing truck fleet
4. Cost optimization of operations and assets
5. Preparation of operation MIS

B) MARKETING –
1) Key Account Management of existing client
2) Increase business of existing client
3) Ensuring smooth communication with exiting client

Administrative Responsibilities
1) Team Management – Reporting, Managing, Motivating
2) Managing and motivating team
3) Timely payment realization
4) Analysis of operating statements, business mix, margins and customer retention.
5) Compliance of all statutory requirements
6) Submission of all taxes, levies on time to all department /officials.
7) Liaison with all concerned government, semi government departments.
8) Liaison with all advocates/consultants /Firms on time & ensure timely compliance.
